Today's Daily GritYou can change your approach without giving up.
The Focus
Staying committed doesn't mean doing things the same way forever.
The Reflection
Sometimes the plan that worked last month no longer fits your life. Your schedule changes, your responsibilities grow, or your energy isn't what it used to be. Something that once felt manageable starts to feel like a struggle. It's tempting to respond by pushing harder. After all, we often hear that success comes from consistency and persistence. Those qualities matter, but they aren't the whole story. Resilience also requires paying attention. Is the approach still working? Is there something you haven't accounted for? Would asking for help, adjusting your expectations, or taking a different route get you closer to where you want to be? Changing your method doesn't automatically mean abandoning your goal. Sometimes it is exactly what allows you to keep going. You don't have to prove your commitment by making things harder than they need to be. You can remain dedicated to what matters while being flexible about how you get there.
Today's Small Step
Think of one thing that's been harder than expected. Ask yourself what you could change to make it more manageable. Consider one adjustment rather than trying to fix everything.
A Thought to Carry With You
You can stay true to your goal and still take a different path.
